Elena Osipyan (She/Her/Hers) has been a STEM Content Contributor at Research Girl, Inc. since November of 2024. Her current scholarly research, and content contributions to Research Girl, Inc., focus on physics, and applications of physics and math to life sciences.

Biographical Sketch:

Elena Osipyan is a second-year student at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UofT), where she is pursuing physical sciences and biochemistry. She has been involved in research projects and initiatives related to medical imaging, artificial intelligence (AI), mathematical protein modeling, agent-based modeling software, neuroscience, and nanochemistry.

 

Elena serves as chair of biomedical engineering for the space life sciences initiative at Students for Exploration and Development of Space Canada (SEDS–ÉEDS Canada), where she strives to promote space-related life sciences opportunities across Canada.

 

When not found at her laptop, Elena is usually taking a walk, or playing with her cat, Kefir.
