Biographical Sketch:
Sandy Ibrahim is a Science Content Developer at Research Girl, Inc., and part of the internal Science Content and Communications team. She supports initial editing and review processes of contributors' draft articles and other forms of content; collaborates on content development for web and social media; and significantly contributes to content research and development of informational and educational presentations.
Sandra is a STEM content creator with professional work experience in health care and clinical research. She served as a clinical research coordinator at Northwell Health, working closely with oncology patients and guiding them through treatment processes and clinical trials. Her compassionate approach stems from personal experiences, including supporting her mother through stage IV ovarian cancer.
She is also a digital marketing enthusiast, currently expanding her skills with certifications in digital marketing and project management. Outside of Research Girl, Inc., Sandra is passionate about using her platform to inspire and educate. On her TikTok account, @nyralotus, she shares engaging content about cooking, music, and raising awareness for neurodivergent women.

*This research examined categorical stressors affecting student mental health during quarantine. Sandy's findings highlighted the vital role of extensive social networks in improving mental and physical health, emphasizing the complex relationship between the body and mind.
