Biographical Sketch:

Sri is a current M2 at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He graduated from Arizona State University with his B.S. in Biomedical Science in May of 2024. He has research experience and interests in immunology, virology, and cancer. During his undergraduate years, he worked on developing vaccines for autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and conducted infectious disease epidemiological research for Flu and COVID. Now, he works in a lab developing oncolytic virotherapy for colorectal cancer. He has presented his work at multiple conferences throughout undergraduate and medical school.

 

Sri is interested in pursuing thoracic oncology and transplant in both the clinic and as a researcher in the future. Outside of research and medical school, he enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to hip-hop, and watching football.
